Anybody know of good sites for free conent radio programs I am looking for mostly music shows??
There have been wonderful program sources and links posted right here over the last several years.
I'm not sure the best way to search for it, but perhaps someone can step in and explain.
And hands DjBoutit this link http://www.part15.us/forum/part15-forums/content-media/looking-content

My station I play Rap Hiphop R&B Soul Funk Reggae for the 1970s to early 2000s I need programs that play these types of music.
I found the Up Front Soul Show it is a great show
Reggae Explorations show has commericials screw that. I am a internet only station for now that does not play commericials.
Druid Hills Radio AM-1710- Dade City, FL. Unlicensed operation authorized by the Part 15 Department of the FCC and our Resident Hobby Agent.
Radio4all is where I found the Up Front Soul show that is only show from that site that is a fit for my station.
The ALPB (The Association of Low Power Broadcasters) has many links to many programs... pay a visit and hunt around.
Here is a great program that I ran weekly for a few years...
The Roots of Smooth
We air UpFront Soul on WLSL-LP. Saturdays at Noon.
I went snooping at archive(dot)org and found Micky Martin's Blues Party.
I love this. Blues is best. Let me know what you think about it.
Micky Martin's Blues Party
That blues show would work if it did not play soft rock tracks.
Put the blues show in your audio editor and remove the soft rock tracks.
Each blues show is 4 hours long not going to edit a 4 hour show.
Any other programs that might work for my station??
I found a little under 2hr Reggae radio show on Archive.
That's the way to go, DJbout it.
Any good free 10 to 15 min news program that is produced on the weekends to bad BBNC news is not produced on the weekend??
You might try checking to see if your state has a state network. Though I can't think of any services off the top of my head that produce a weekend newscast of that length.
There are 5-minute, 30-minute and 1-hour newscasts on weekends, but I don't know about any that are 10 to 15-minutes.
Well Texas State Network has a 10 or 15 minute cast at noon If I'm not mistaken. That is a pretty unusual length that I think would be limited to State Networks. I know ABC, WW1, Salem, and the other big networks don't. The industry standard is pretty much set to 5 minutes with most offering a 3 minute option.
So does anybody know of any classic rap hiphop or classic r&b shows??
The format is so new and mostly controlled by Radio One that I'm unaware of any that are free. I'm certain there has to be though.
In the 1980s I worked for a public FM station and we knew a great DJ on 1600 AM that did an R&B show that first started back in the 1950s.
We contacted the station and asked if we could re-broadcast 1-hour of the show once a week minus the commercials, and the station liked the idea so much they made a commercial-free air-check of the show and all we had to do was pick it up on a reel of tape.
What you (DJboutit) might do is contact a streaming station that has a great show and ask if you can have permission to re-stream their program.
Carl that is good idea thx
I was hunting at archive(dot)org for a program for me when I found a program and wondered... "I wonder if DJboutit will like this?"
It's a show called "Good Times with Mo", recorded in the Philippines with DJ Mo Twister and guests, he talks ABOUT music but I am not sure if he plays music... I liked it a lot so it must be good.
Good Times with Mo
Rebuilding my playlist after I had to format I am looking for a good free 5 to 10 min daily news program which news show do you recommend??
http://www.publicnewsservice.org has a 6 minute Daily News broadcast option.
http://www.voanews.com has a 5 minute daily broadcast. but requires you also have an online stream, and sign agreement.
http://buzzburbank.libsyn.com has a daily 15 minute newscast. EDIT--actually Buzz Burbank is a weekly newcast, not daily.
Those are the only free short format newscast I know of. They are confirmed as part15 freindly.
For other free programs you can check out: http://part15lab.blogspot.com/2016/02/free-programing-sources-for-part-15.html but there's not much in the line of music there. I've also confirmed 4 or 5 other good programs not listed there at the moment, but will be adding them soon.. I need to break that list up into separate page catagories, not only to make it easier to find what your looking for, but also to make it easier to edit!
